Remember that feeling when you’re in your late twenties or thirties, you look through some of your old college and high school photos and you think “Man what was I thinking!”
Yup, that’s probably what Ashley Tisdale felt, when she came across one of her old red carpet photos.
I’m sure you’re still trying to forget that Madonna inspired big hair you rocked on prom or those mean girls inspired “all pink” days in high school.
But let’s face it, we all have those unfortunate times in life. We don’t have to feel bad about all that really because it’s all just a part of life.
As a matter of fact, we should be glad that we were not watched closely by shutterbugs and paparazzi during those times because that would have made it all difficult for us to forget those cringe worthy days.
However, that’s not the case with former Disney star Ashley Tisdale.

The actress recently told People magazine what she considers to be her biggest and worst fashion fail on the red carpet. It was back in her Disney channel days and the look, well, let’s just say it was quite the look.
Ashley Tisdale has been making red carpet appearances right from when she was about 17 or 18, so she has over 20 years of red carpet experience. It is only normal if she doesn’t feel all that good about some of her looks. To put in terms of what her High School Musical character Sharpay Evans would say, “some of her looks were slightly off-key”.
She told People magazine that one of her stark staring mistakes was her red carpet look in 2004, when she employed the costume designer from Disney’s Suite Life of Zac and Cody to be her real – life red carpet stylist.
Tisdale told People, “They will just style you how you’re styled on your TV Show. So I looked like my character (Maddie Fitzpatrick) at all times when I was going out.”

It was at the premiere of Disney’s The Incredibles. Tisdale wore a metallic camo skirt, a fur stole and, yes you guessed it right, pink boots. Oh and let’s not forget her fringed bag.
She explained, “I wore this really weird pink camo skirt and this pink furry thing, I don’t even know what it was, but I said, ‘Ooh put me in it!’ And instead of wearing it like you would normally wear it, I was like, ‘I’m going to do it have one of my arms out and have it going across my body.
It was the weirdest thing. At that point you just have to laugh at yourself.”
Now considering the fact that she was probably only about 19 at the time, she was only on the developing stage of her personal style statement. Now she has definitely toned down on her metallics and is now embracing a more free-spirited boho style.
Well, however bad her fashion fails were in the past, we can all forgive her can’t we? Because she is definitely a fashion leader now and hey we have all had our fashion fail days.
